

She lived in Evansville, IN most of her life and worked at Atlas Van Lines and JC Penney. Anna Louise loved fishing with her husband on their pontoon boat when they lived on Barkley Lake in KY. She loved her vegetable garden, tending her flowers and doing needlepoint. She was also a great seamstress and cook. She loved the Senior Games and won several awards.
Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Perkins, with whom she shared 52 years of life until his passing in 2002. She was also preceded by her parents, Lawrence and Nellie (Sapp) Strobel, as well as brothers and sisters, Lawrence Strobel, Jr., Jonell Strobel, John Strobel, Irene Fulkerson and Pauline Fulkerson.
She is survived by her children, Sandra Arterberry (Charles) of Leesburg, FL whom she lived with and was cared for by, Janet Halterman (Charles) of Clermont, FL, Ron Perkins (Vicki) of Newburgh, IN; grandchildren, David Arterberry (Britni), Stephanie Jones, Fiona Arterberry, Harmony Arterberry, Emily Arterberry, Charles Halterman, Jr. (Jessa), Christopher Halterman (Jamie), Kelly Simpson (Daniel), Nicholas Perkins, John Perkins (Michele) and Holly Talarzyk (Jeffrey); 22 great grandchildren, and her sister, Hallie Murphy of AZ.
Graveside service will be held Friday, June 3, 2022, 10:00a.m. at Park Lawn Cemetery Mausoleum, officiated by Deacon Chris Borowiecki. Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 p.m. on June 2, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261.
The family would like to thank Home Instead and Vitas Healthcare Hospice of Florida who made it possible for her to remain in her home.
Anna will be deeply missed and always remain in the hearts of her family and loved ones.
