She loved the water, nature, mermaids, and Billie Eilish. Caden loved her Nana and Papa dearly, they always had a special bond. Her little sister, Peyton, was the light of her life.
Some souls are just different. Caden never quite seemed to fit into this world, but still, lit up every room she entered. Her kindness and good manners, never unnoticed.
A child at heart herself always, she adored her siblings and all the children of family and friends, and they adored her right back. We always joked that she could have been Super Nanny.
When Caden was about four years old, she started wearing her SpongeBob pajama pants on her head at bedtime and became “Sister Madison.” We would just laugh and say, “Madison has to brush her teeth too,” and Caden would get the good old double cleanse. That beautiful smile started early!
At 10 years old, Caden was so excited to get baptized! The then chubby little cheeks glistening from the water and dim lighting and yep, again, that smile.
My little movie buff. She had been my movie date since she was three years old. In the past several years, I always knew she could tell when I was worried about her because she would quietly reach over, grab my hand, and hold it during the car ride. Oh, how my momma heart needs that now!
Caden had struggles that most could never begin to understand, things that her kind heart and soul never should have had to endure. Child of mine, I pray you have found the peace and comfort that you were never quite able to find here.
Momma loves you. Always.
