She worked for 30 years of service as a pharmacy technician at St. Mary's Hospital before retiring. Carlotta was a proud member of the Red Hat Society and treasured the many friendships she made through the organization. She enjoyed watching sports, especially Castle Knights football and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Carlotta is survived by her husband of 38 years, Donald Shroyer; children, Troy McLean (Ronda), and Michael McLean (Jennifer); grandchildren, Zachary McLean (Shelany), Kelsea Peterson (Justin), Noah McLean (Emme), and Mary Ann McLean; great grandchildren, Myles Gabriel McLean and Myles Reece McLean; step-daughters, Misty Fritts and Tammy Dunn (Richard); step-grandchildren, Miranda Stuckey (AJ), Trinity Fritts, Ashton Shierbaum (Maddie), Kaleigh Derrington and Scott Weightman.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. Bill Herb, with her final resting place in St. Paul’s Methodist Church Cemetery. Family and friends may visit 12:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the funeral home.
