Clara Jeanette "Jean" Kirk

Clara Jeanette “Jean” Kirk, age 90, of Gainesville, Florida, formerly of Newburgh, Indiana was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on March 18, 2018. Jean was born October, 10, 1927 in Evansville, Indiana. At the age of three she moved with her parents to Grandview, Indiana. There she attended grade school and high school until the high school was destroyed in 1943. Jean graduated from Rockport High School in 1945. She married her grade school and high school sweetheart, best friend and soul-mate, Billy (Bill) Kay Kirk, on December 15, 1945. Bill was called to be with our Lord on December 20, 2011. They are now together forever. “Love Never Faileth.” Jean is survived by her beloved daughter, Peggy Janet Wald of Palm Coast, Florida; and her Pride and Joy, grandsons, Kirk Wayne Morgan and wife Tamera of Palm Coast, Florida, and James Kay Morgan of Capitola, California. Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 31, 2018, at Alexander Memorial Park Heritage Chapel in Evansville, Indiana.
