David retired in 2006 from Whirlpool Corporation, after 38 years. He was a member of IUECWA Local 808.
He enjoyed his family and was an avid Kentucky Wildcat fan.
David was preceded in death by his wife, Bernarddean Pike and sister, Mary Calvert.
He is survived by his daughter, Angela Koewler (Nolan); granddaughter, Jessica Koewler all of Evansville; sister, Ann Lynn of Hanson, KY; brothers, Jessie L. Pike of Morganfield, KY and John Pike of Newburgh; and sister, Sue Poe of Boonville.
Services will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 6, 2011, at St. Rupert’s Catholic Church, 1244 Red Brush Road, Newburgh, officiated by Fr. Lowell Will. Friends may visit Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
