David “Lefty” Sensenbrenner, father, grandfather, and baseball coach passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. Dave, who had been recently hospitalized following a series of health issues related to diabetes, was 60 years old. A 1975 graduate of Castle High School, Dave Sensenbrenner played many sports, but his passion was baseball. Dave went on to play baseball at Southern Indiana University of Evansville, where he then entered into the San Francisco Giants franchise. Dave was a supporter of the Newburgh Babe Ruth Youth Baseball League. In the off season you could find Dave helping individuals perfect their baseball skills at Gemini Sports Inc. in Newburgh, Indiana or executing sales at Nichols Electric Supply in Evansville, Indiana. Dave was also a member of Methodist Temple in Evansville, Indiana. Mr. David Sensenbrenner is survived by his son, Chris Sensenbrenner; a daughter-in-law, Kerry Devine-Sensenbrenner; and two grandchildren, Sloane Sensenbrenner and Sutton Sensenbrenner.
