Diane Willis, (affectionately known as "Grammy”), 77, of Newburgh, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2024 surrounded by a room full of family and loved ones. She was born July 7, 1946 in Evansville to the late Glenn and Betty (Rheinlander) Shane. She was the heart and soul of her family, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She lived a life of kindness, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Her warm smile and gentle nature brought joy to all who knew her. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and loved, creating a sense of home wherever she went. Despite enduring intense health issues for the past eleven years, Diane faced each day with supernatural strength and grace. Her resilience and determination inspired all who witnessed her journey. The family would like to express their gratitude to the IU Medical Team and Deaconess Infusion Center for their exceptional care and compassion during this time. Family was Diane's greatest joy and accomplishment. She cherished spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and loved ones.
