Donald Noffsinger

Donald Noffsinger, 72, of Newburgh, IN, passed away on Friday, February 4, 2022, at Brentwood Nursing Home. He was born on December 2, 1949 in Evansville, IN to the late Frank and Frances (Cates) Noffsinger.

Donald was a 1967 graduate of North High School. He graduated from Indiana State in 1971, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Modern Foreign Languages with a concentration in German. He retired from JC Penny after 18 years of employment in the Indianapolis area. Donald owned Precision Tune and also retired from Houchens, Inc. He was an avid clock collector and restored and repaired clocks. He was a lover of all things sweet.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Tony Noffsinger.

Donald is survived by his wife of 48 years, Martha (Patterson) Noffsinger; son, Brandon Noffsinger (Alana); daughter, Andrea Myers (Kenny); grandchildren, Max and Jackson Noffsinger, and Morgan, Peyton, Ansley and Wyatt Myers; brother, Bryan Noffsinger; sister, Jacinda LaGrange; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool, with burial in Slaughters Cemetery in Kentucky. Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until noon at the funeral home.
