She was a member of Gateway Baptist Church and retired from Hostess Bakery. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, James and Thelma Brake; twin sister, Wanda Brake; sister, Sharon Miller; and her brother, James Brake.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Mark Shiver; son, Mark Shiver II (Tamara); daughter, Jaime Day (Kevin); grandchildren, Tyler and Logan Elliott, Emilee and Abigail Shiver; sisters, Nancy Brown (Don), Linda Daugherty, Kathy Greenburg (Hank); mother-in-law, Della Shiver; nieces and nephews; and her beloved pet, Molly.
Services will be 2 PM, Friday, October 28, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. Glen Flowers, with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Thursday, 4-8 PM, and Friday 1 PM until service time at the funeral home.
