Doris May Roll

Doris M. Roll, 82, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2016, at Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville. She was born February 6, 1934, in Folsomville, IN, to the late Curtis and Medline Clark.

She enjoyed helping others especially volunteering at Meals on Wheels and driving senior citizens. Doris loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed going to Bible Study and had a gift for flower arranging. Doris worked in sales and was a long time Real Estate Agent.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Wesley Miller; stepson, Mark Roll; brother, Harlond Clark; and sister, Nila Jean Chapman.

Doris is survived by her husband of 52 years, Rex Roll; son, Leslie Miller; daughter, Rhonda Smith (Jack); stepson, Steve Roll (Jennifer); stepdaughter, Fonda Poland (Vernon); grandkids, Jon Miller (Carrie), Rachel Miller, Wyatt Miller, Shannon Harmes (Daniel), Tonya Roll-Wilson, Ian Poland (Cory), Maegan Poland; sister, Rosalee Clark; many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, July 9, 2016, at Morningside Presbyterian Church officiated by Pastor James Messer. Friends may visit 11:00 AM until service time on Saturday at the church.
