Beth was known for her warmth, humor, and the way she made people feel like they belonged. She had a gift for making others laugh—often at just the right moment—and for showing up when it mattered most. She proudly served the Town of Newburgh for 22 years as a firefighter and EMT, dedicating her life to helping others in their most critical moments.
Beth shared a lifelong bond with those closest to her, becoming part of their families as much as their lives. She was loyal, compassionate, and deeply connected to the people she loved.
She is survived by her mother, Kathleen Braden; her father, Steven Braden (Cecelia); her brothers, Jesse Braden (Brittany) and Colyn Dean “CD” Cox (Mitchell Lovellette-Cox); her nephews, Kobe, Kasey, Kaylen, Lennon, Robbie, and Jayce; her niece, Logan; her great-nieces, Lyra and Lyric; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family members who meant so much to her. She loved her family deeply, and that love will continue to live on in all who knew her.
Beth was preceded in death by her sister, Keri Rae Sharpe; her maternal grandparents, Francis M. Kirkman and Marion Annette Miller; her paternal grandparents, Louis and Elizabeth Braden; her aunt, Tara Oxford Kirkman; and her great-aunts, Deborah Schaffer and Linda Gray.
A Celebration of Life to honor Beth will be held on April 11, 2026 at New Hope Community Church, 5422 Vann Road, Newburgh, Indiana 47630. All are welcome to attend and pay their respects from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM, followed by a (small) service for those closest to Beth.
Beth was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.
