Fern E. Rice

She was a charter member of Albright United Methodist Church. She loved the Lord with all her heart and always enjoyed spending time with her family.

Fern was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, William (Bill); grandsons, Adam Bohnert and Adam Wade; parents, Elmer and Della (Medcalf) Reinhart; siblings, Ruth Spurlock, Earl Reinhart, Eldo Reinhart, Ray Reinhart, Faye Hufnagel, Donna Heady, and Ronnie Reinhart.

She is survived by son, David (Sue) Rice of Newburgh IN; daughter, Pamela (Michael) Wade of Newburgh IN; daughter, Terri (Stanley) Butler of Roswell GA; grandchildren, Matt (Brandi) Rice, Andrea (Daniel) McReynolds, Andrew (Carrie) Rice, Sara Bohnert, Nick (Jessica) Wade, Gary (Tina) Wade, Jordan and Cameron Butler; great-grandchildren, Caitlin, Brandt, and Nichole Rice, Violet and Scarlet McReynolds, Leena, Norah, and Vincent Rice, Kenan, Easton, Langston, and Irelyn Wade, Alexandra Wade, Allison and Joshua Gibbs; great-great grandson, Lucas Gibbs; and siblings, Paul Reinhart, Doris Counts, Norma Sanzoni, Amon Reinhart, and Bob Reinhart.

The family thanks Deaconess Palliative Care and Charlier Hospice Center for their loving care.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Friends may visit from 9:30 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at the Dale Cemetery in Dale, IN.
