I just heard from my father.  My thoughts and prayers go out to the Wright & Stanley families, Brooke, and Karen.  I knew Gary from WCG as a kid, but mostly as a teenager when he was youth pastor.  He figures strongly in my memory because he was such a good role model:  positive, friendly, kind and one couldn't help smile just by being around him.  Words just can't express what a loss to the world his passing is.

So deeply saddened by the news of Gary's death. Much of my teen memories were shared with Gary.  I know he will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Love and prayers for you all.

I am truly sorry to hear of Garys passing. I had not spoke to Gary since my days at SHPS. Gary was a beam of light everywhere he went. As almost all have stated Gary always had a smile on his face that I will always remember. Gary Wright was a great man with a huge heart and a talent for making you laugh when you felt least like laughing. Without Garys prodding I may not have made it to the level I enjoy in my career today. I am honored to say that I knew Gary Wright. Rest in Peace "W"... you will be missed friend.

I am saddened to learn of the passing of my very good friend Gary Wright. Although I didn't know Gary for more then two (2) years, he and Karen became very close with myself. Gary and his family spent new years eve with my family, I watched his dogs and he participated in my sons professional boxing career. Gary will be truly be missed not only as a friend but as the great person that he was. My deepest sympathy's go out to his daughter, fiance Karen and the rest of his family. The lord has taken back one of his angels, RIP.

So sorry for the loss of Gary.  I remember him well from our Y.O.U. days and being at Ambassador University together.  He was always smiling and so friendly.  The pictures are definitely how I remember "tiger".  So cute and smiling.  We will be praying for all of you.

Gary was one of my closest friends. Many of the memories in the last 6 years included many amazing and fun times. I will never forget such a fantastic person and friend. I will miss him.

I met Gary 12 years ago standing on a the bow of a casino boat in a hurricane.  In the years that followed, some of my favorite memories are of times I shared with Gary, Lisa, Julia, and Liana.  I miss the calls from bowling night and the stories of the latest Cardinal game.  I was fortunate to have gone up on deck to get some air and walked away with a friend.  Gary, you will be missed so much and never forgotten.  Thank you for your friendship and humor.  Rest easy my friend.
