

Ed was an Air Force Veteran and was a member of American Legion Boonville Post 200. He retired from Alcoa after 27 years.
He was a member of Hatfield United Methodist Church. Ed enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, camping and feeding his hummingbirds twice a day.
Ed was preceded in death by his parents, Gayle and Lorraine (Baylor) Bridgewater, Sr.; three brothers, Charles, Jerry and Louie; daughter, Patty Bridgewater; and grandson, Jason Bridgewater.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Helen (Handick) Bridgewater of Boonville; daughter, Barb Bridgewater Young of Chandler; sons, Dale Bridgewater (Carolyn) of Kent, WA and Paul Bridgewater (Susan) of Evansville; ten grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sister, Beverly Bolin (Jim) of Tulsa, OK; brothers, Paul Bridgewater (Marilee) of West Terre Haute, IN and David Bridgewater (Nancy) of Bixby, OK; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, September 11, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. David Cotton, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Friday from 12-Noon until service time at the funeral home.
