Harold Dean Stallion Sr.

Harold Dean Stallion, Sr., 84, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville. He was born December 3, 1933, in Dawson Springs, KY to the late Creed and Mayme Stallion.

He was a charter member of Living Word Christian Church. Harold enjoyed fishing, the outdoors, helping at American Taxidermy, and he spent most of his time at auctions and flea markets. He was one of a kind; he never met a stranger and would do anything for anyone. Harold loved being with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Velma; and brothers, Carlton and Coye Stallion.

Harold is survived by son, Dean Stallion (Karen); daughter, Deana Blagg; grandchildren, J.D. Blagg, Jamie Bowlin, Amy Blagg, Christopher Dean Stallion, Ashley Mason, Hannah Stallion; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Nancy Landreth.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 24, 2018, at Living Word Christian Church officiated by Pastor Mike Claypool with burial in Park Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit 3-7 PM on Friday at the church.
