He was a Jehovah’s Witness and was baptized at age 15. J loved playing guitar and was working towards building specialty guitars. He loved hanging out with his best buddies, building computers and his cat, Neko.
J is survived by his wife of 4 years, Kelley Dettloff, of Newburgh; parents, Bruce and Janie Blunk of Newburgh; aunts, Judy Gail Bandy, Alice Gray (Roy), Joyce Lich (Wayne) and Judy Shaw (Roger); and several cousins and good friends, including best buddies, Jesse Jourdan and Corydon Daniels.
Friends may visit starting at 2:00PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1530 Burdette Avenue, Evansville, IN 47714. A Funeral Service will follow at 4:00PM, officiated by Ira Parrish.
