

She had been a cook at Helen’s Restaurant, worked at Robert’s Stadium and retired as head cook at Bethel Temple church where she was a lifetime member and sang with Saints Alive. She was also a member of the American Legion in Elberfeld, and loved working outside, bird watching, and jigsaw puzzles.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Robert E. Young; brothers, Henry Winfield, Bud, Jimmy and Bobby; sisters, Maxine, Clevia Jean, and Ginger; half-brother, Teddy, and step-son Marc Young.
She is survived by daughter, Alberta (John) Wright of Evansville; son, Johnnie (Susie) Engler of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Jackie Sue (Vernon) Ellis of Evansville; daughter, Peggy (Larry) Woods of Newburgh, daughter, Nancy (Chris Dezso) Tynes of Green Valley, AZ; 19 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; step-son, Gary (Anita) Young of Augusta, GA; half-brother, Robert (Beverly) Flecther Trousdale of Evansville; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Dave Schwambach, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. Friends may visit Tuesday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
