Janice C. Middleton, 75, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017, at Deaconess VNA Plus Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville. She was born October 13, 1941, in Jasonville, IN, to the late John and Aletha Champ.
She had worked for the Evansville-Vanderburgh School Corporation and was currently working as a Spanish Teacher at the University of Southern Indiana.
Janice was preceded in death by her son, Andrew Rush; and sister, Jeanne Thomas.
She is survived by her husband, William W. Middleton, of Newburgh; son, Michael Champ Rush of Colombia, South America; brother, John Russell of Eminence, IN; sisters, Mary Ellen McNabb of Terre Haute, IN, Ann Campbell of Newport Beach, CA, and Ruth McCombs of Texas.
No services will be held at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to P.A.A.W.S. No-Kill Animal Rescue, P.O. Box 115, Newburgh, IN, or the ASPCA.
