He was a member of Crossroads Christian Church. Jimmy owned a tree service for many years. He volunteered at St. Mary’s Medical Center for over 7 years, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Margaret (Holder) Smith; and sisters, Donna Bonham and Fran Cox.
He is survived by sisters, Sue Biggerstaff and Linda Oglesby; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 6:00 PM, Saturday, March 8, 2014, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Rev. William Gaddis, with burial at Rose Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 3:00 PM until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
