Judy loved her house in the woods by the lake. It was a place that reflected so much of who she was: peaceful, welcoming, and full of life. She loved having people over, spending time on the deck, and sharing laughter, conversation, and card games with friends and family.
Judy also had a knack for finding just the right thing for someone. She enjoyed shopping at yard sales and was always on the lookout for something her family might need. Whether it was a useful household item, something for the kids, or a small treasure she thought someone would appreciate, she found joy in passing those things along.
Some of Judy’s happiest moments were spent with friends and family, traveling, and making memories in places she loved. She especially enjoyed trips to the Smokies, Alaska, Florida, and Canada, where she visited her daughter, Kristine.
Judy is survived by her daughter, Kristine Heilmann, and Kristine’s husband, Nick Heilmann; her grandchildren, Aspen and Collin; her brother, Tim Eberle; and her stepdaughter, Dawn, with whom she shared a close relationship, along with Dawn’s children, Jordan, Jason, and Jamie.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bonnie Eberle.
Judy’s life will be remembered in the card games, the gatherings on the deck, the treasures found and shared, the stories from her travels, and the love she had for her family. She will be deeply missed.
A Celebration of Life for Judy will be held in the near future. Friends and family who would like to gather with us to remember Judy and share stories are invited to email Kristine at [email protected] for more information.
