Ken was an Army veteran and was a VFW and American Legion member. He was an avid bowler. Ken worked as a mechanic for many years at Firestone, Cooke Chevrolet, and Amax Coal.
He was preceded in death in by his parents, Victor and Ida Goffinet and daughter, Becky Goffinet.
Ken is survived by his wife of 53 years, Janice “Jan” Goffinet; son, Bill Goffinet (Wendy) of Tamarac, FL; daughter, Melinda Combs (Michael) of Vincennes; beloved granddaughter, Kendra Combs; sister, Pat James (Linus); and several nieces, nephews and his beloved dog, Pepper.
A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Friends may visit Tuesday 1:00 PM until service time at the funeral home.
