Kimberly Sue Hill

Kimberly ‘Kimi’ Sue Hill (Sampson), 62, of Mt. Vernon (formerly of Newburgh) was born to John and Nora (Myers) Sampson on November 7, 1962 in Evansville. Kimberly passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.

Kimberly was a faithful servant of the Lord and worked as a District Sales Manager for RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company. She loved being in the company of her family, particularly her grandchildren, and enjoyed cooking and travelling in her spare time.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Joseph Hill; children, Jonathan Stutsman (Misty Watkins), Andrew Hill (Christine), Tyler Stokes, and Abbey Stokes; sister, Gloria Horton (David); sister-in-law, Rebecca Buttrum (David); brothers-in-law, Robert Hill, and Paul Hill (Julieta); grandchildren, Taylor and Mya Stutsman, Ian and Josephine Hill, and Ashton Stokes; nieces and nephews Katye Powell (Brad), and Kyle Horton; and grandnieces and grandnephew Brantley, Kinsley, and Brooklynn. In addition, she loved and was loved by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 7, 2025 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261. Family and friends may visit Sunday, April 6, 2025 from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
