

Larry Stephen Largent, 77, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Wednesday, September 28, 2016 at his home. He was born April 13, 1939, in Evansville, to the late Seth and Lillian (Ellis) Largent. He was the youngest of four children along with his twin sister, Shirley, older brother, Robert and sister, Jean (Chenoweth).
Larry met his beautiful bride, Marilyn Jo Sarjent in Lafayette, IN and they married in 1960 in Evansville. They were married 45 years before Marilyn departed on September 24, 2005 of Ovarian Cancer.
He went to school at Mechanic Arts where he studied to become a tool and die maker, after working in that field for several years he transitioned into the trucking industry where he drove for several companies for years before he retired in 2000.
Larry loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was actively involved with model railroading, outdoor activities, such as 4-wheeling and fishing with his kids.
He had given his heart to the Lord and is now spending eternity with Him and his wife and the many other loved ones whom have left this Earth before him.
Larry is survived by his sons, Thomas and Bryan, and daughters, Kathy and Julie; grandchildren, Steven, Kyle, Kinsey, Seth, Zebadiah (Zeb), Evan, Grant, Amber, Samantha and Delanee; and great grandchildren, Elijah (Eli), Lennox, and Adilyn.
No services will be held.
