Dear Bob. I am so sorry about Larry’s passing. I was shocked and then blessed with all the memories that came over me. I wish I could have come to visitation or to the funeral but did not see the obituary until late today and after the funeral. God’s blessings and we will keep you in our prayers.

It is hard to believe t that Larry is gone. I first met him when I returned to USI as a student in 1992. Being a blind student, I often needed rides to access parts of the campus not in the main portion. Larry seem to draw the short straw a lot. He and I spent a many a rides in the golf cart and vans. When Charlotte started at USI, he asked me to help her learn the campus and introduce her to the other students with disabilities that hung out at the Counseling Center, where Disability Support Services were housed at that time. Even, when I began teaching at USI, I saw Larry and got updates on Charlotte. I will truly miss him. May God's love, strength comfort, and peace be upon his family.

So sorry for your loss. I met Larry when I was a public safety officer at USI. He was great at his job, and was always very kind to me and everyone else he worked with.

I met Larry at USI as he was driving around checking lots. I was new working there and I was trying to figure out where the choir room was since I had some delivery's for them and had NO idea where it was. But leave it to Larry to stop and ask me if I needed help, of course I said yes and he lead me to the back of the LA building and not only that he helped me take my stuff n. From then on every day I seen Larry he made it a point to say HI, he had a very big heart and it showed. God bless u Larry u will b missed greatly.
