Margaret K. Fischer

She was a graduate of Washington High School and Evansville College (University of Evansville). Margaret married Norman C. Fischer in 1951 at First Presbyterian Church in Evansville, IN. She was devoted to her four children-Norman C. Fischer, Jr. (Wenda), Richard W. Fischer (Theresa), Ronald R. Fischer (Deborah), and Barbara D. Fischer. She was the proud grandmother of four grandchildren, Emily J. Roelandts (Rob), Elizabeth A. Fischer, Kellie N. Fischer, and William K. Fischer, and three great grandchildren, Jacob, Oscar, and Nora Roelandts. Her family was the greatest joy of her life.

Margaret loved to garden and read, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and neighbors. One of her favorite places was the Newburgh Downtown Library. She was a member of Eastminster Presbyterian Church in Evansville, IN.

A Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 31, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Rev. JT Silence, with burial in Sunset Memorial Park. A livestream of the service will be available at www.facebook.com/FuneralStreamUSA. Family and friends may visit Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
