Margarette Isabelle Stone

Margarette was employed at Baynham Shoes and later with the Evansville Water Department. She enjoyed camping, horseback riding, square dancing, bowling, and working on puzzles. She loved being outdoors, visiting with her neighbors and family.

She is survived by her son, Steve (Patricia) Stone ; daughter, Marisha (Jerry) Boyle; grandchildren, Monica (Connie Timbs) Stone, Kimberly (Steven) Davis, and Spencer (Caitlyn Dunn) Boyle; and great-grandchildren, McKenzie Davis and Skylar Davis.

Margarette was preceded in death by her beloved of 56 years husband, Kenneth Lee Stone; brother, Willie Koker; sister, Imogene Rideout; and great-grandson, Austin Davis.

The family extends a heartfelt thank you to Jane Christian who was a devoted caregiver and trusted confidant as well as the staff at Linda E. White Hospice House for their compassionate care.

A memorial visitation will be held from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel. Margarette's final resting place will be at Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.
