Mary worked at the Youth Care Center where she started as a volunteer. She had a true passion for her job and will be missed by many.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Reinhart; brother, John; and her parents, Henry and Virginia Petersen.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Sandra Zaucha (Anthony) of Kenosha, WI and Elizabeth Gillispie of Evansville; son, Brian Miller of Newburgh; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brother, Bill Petersen of Chicago, IL; sister, Susan English (Bob) of McHenry, IL; and dear friend, Marsha Baker.
Services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 7, 2011, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Ft. Branch. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Youth Care Center, 727 Chestnut Street, Evansville, IN 47713.
