Mary E. Waters

Mary E. Waters, 95, of Newburgh, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Golden Living Center-Woodlands. She was born June 12, 1922, in Warrick County, Indiana, to the late Robert and Minnie (Metzger) Seiler. Mary was a long time member of St. John the Baptist Church, where she faithfully served in many capacities. She was presented the Brute Award by Bishop Gettelfinger in 1995. She loved gardening and spending time working in her yard. Mary worked at Bristol-Myers for 38 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Waters; brother, Frank Seiler; sister, Marcella Schneider; and brother, Norbert Seiler, Sr. Mary is survived by her sister-in-law, Carolyn Seiler; two nephews; and seven nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 2, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, Indiana, officiated by Fr. Tom Kessler, with burial in St. Rupert Cemetery. Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
