He was a Marine veteran who served during the Vietnam War and worked as a carpenter for many years. He was a man of very few words but loved everyone.
Michael is survived by his wife of 28 years, Anita (West) Persinger of Chandler; daughters, Jessie Persinger and Leah Persinger of Evansville; brothers, Edwin Persinger and Thomas Persinger of Chandler; nephew, Shawn Persinger of Boonville, and niece, Andrea Farmer of Rockport.
A Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 4, 2022 at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, officiated by Pastor Phil Elikofer, with burial in Bates Hill Cemetery. Military rites will be performed graveside by Kapperman Post #44. Family and friends may visit 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 3, 2022 at the funeral home.
