Nancy L. West, 75, of Yankeetown, IN, passed away Monday, December 26, 2016, at St. Mary's Medical Center in Evansville. She was born September 12, 1941, in Central City, KY, to the late Elbert and Dorothy Thomason.
She retired from Whirlpool after 28 years.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Wendall “Pee Wee” West; daughter, Nancy Gail West; sister, Patricia Holt; and brother, Bill Thomason.
She is survived by sons, Glendall, Dennis, and Bruce West; daughter, Anita Jo Persinger (Mike); granddaughters, Jessie and Leah Persinger; brothers, Gordan, Lewis, Ronnie, and Mickey Thomason; sister, Barbara Boxx; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 31, 2016, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel officiated by Pastor Phil Elikofer with burial in Bates Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit 2-8 PM on Friday at the funeral home.
