Patsy L. Meser

She worked as a Supervisor of Housekeeping and Laundry at Columbia Healthcare Center for a number of years until her retirement in 2002.

She was involved in Maranatha Baptist Church, Newburgh, IN and would come back to fellowship dinners even after she moved to Indianapolis. She loved her church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Katherine and Alonzo Bilderback; husband, Jerome Meser; son, Jerry McPherson; siblings, Billie Jean Blackburn, Bobbie Bilderback, Norma Bilderback, Wesley Bilderback, F. Earl Bilderback and grandson, Jeremy Pearson.

She is survived by her sister, Wilma Graham; children, Jackie (Peter) Campbell, Billy (Jeannie) McPherson, Angela (Aaron) Pearson, Robert (Kimberly) Graham, Mark (Lakeisha) Hall, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Patty was always a caring mom, raising her children the best she could with what she had. Her home was always opened to her family and friends. Anyone that entered her home was always welcomed with a warm and friendly atmosphere. She was not a strong-armed disciplinarian, but was fair and firm, even to the point if she needed to knock you on your butt, she did. She loved to garden, especially when us kids were home and did most of the work. She loved her friends, her church friends, and even her in-laws. Mom was a great mom and will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank Melissa Irion Smith, Newburgh for the care and compassion she showed our mother. She was a great neighbor, watching over Patty as she would her own mother.

Family and friends are invited to attend a service at Alexander Funeral Home-Newburgh Chapel at 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, 47630 on Wednesday, 03 December 2025 at 12:00 p.m. Visitation with the family will begin at 10:00 a.m.

Interment to follow at Alexander Memorial Park Cemetery, 2200 Mesker Park Dr, Evansville, IN,47720.
