Ramon was preceded in death by first wife, Thelma Jean; daughter, Theresa Brown; son, Michael Will; daughter in law, Debbie Will; son in law, Thomas Brown; grandsons, Jordan Travis Brown, Justin Will Brown, Logan Will, and Eli James Bakel; and great grandson, Jordan Grady Pritchett. Ramon is survived by wife, Sylvia; sons, Larry (Mary Beth), Mark (Pam), Jeff (Roseann), Greg (Vicki), and Brian (Karen); daughter, Barbara Henn (Matthew); step-daughter, Diana Powell; grandchildren, Chris Will, Andrew Will, Devin Brown, Denise Will, Brittany Will, Ramon James Will, Blake Will, Lindsey Pritchett, Rose Ellen Binkney and Genevive Henn; and great grandchildren, Luke, Sadie, Walker, Chandler, Lincoln, Juliana, Keagan, Reilyn, Sulley, Aria, Coulson, Shawnee and Trillium.
Ramon was the son of Henry and Pauline Will and was one of twelve siblings (Rose, Edward, Robert, Martha, Leo, Donald, Marvin, Cyril, Elaine, Judy, and Michael). He was born in Darlington and grew up in the Yankeetown/Newburgh area, graduated from Memorial High School in Evansville, was a member of The Knights of Columbus, and was a Supervisor for AT&T (Western Electric) for 30 years. Everyone knew of his love for Memorial High School athletics and Notre Dame football. A faithful Catholic, Ramon was a past member of St. Clement (Boonville) and Good Shepherd (Evansville) Catholic Churches and a current member of St John the Baptist (Newburgh) Catholic Church.
Visitation will be held at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, on Thursday, October 15, 2026 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. The Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 pm. Church visitation will be held October 16, 2026 at 9:00 am followed by funeral services at 10:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Rd., Newburgh, Indiana. Internment at Bates Hill Cemetery, Yankeetown will follow.
