So sorry for your loss. Such a smart man. And a major influence on my musical tastes in the 1970s. Travel well old friend.

I was sorry and shocked to hear of Rick's passing. He was a great colleague at Welborn Clinic during my seven years there. He had a way of communicating complicated financial information in a way our doctors understood and appreciated. For me, he offered wise counsel and his always warm and welcoming sense of humor. He solved problems for us in a matter of fact manner and always came up with solutions. A big loss to his friends, family and colleagues.

I am very sorry to hear the sad news of Rick's passing. I worked with Rick for several years in administration at Welborn Clinic. Rick was an important part of our administrative team. My sincere condolences to Rick's family and friends.

Rick and I worked together at Welborn Clinic for many years. Rick was my 'right-hand man' in administration and I could not have done by job as CEO without him. He had a great sense of humor and yet was always very respectful of me and all the physicians at Welborn. We worked together to transition to the Deaconess Health System in 2008 at which point he became a member of DHS Finance Department. I'm sure his family will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by many other people, not the least of which his co-workers at Deaconess.

Rick was always one to keep you on your toes. He challenged everyone to improve and strive to do their best. Rick was a coworker but more than that he was a friend. He will be missed!

Rick was one of the nicest individuals I had the pleasure to work with at Deaconess. Kind, intelligent- and had one of the greatest sense of humors. He always found a way to lighten the mood in a meeting in a way only he could. I also cherish our conversations on home projects. I will miss him dearly. He was a beloved friend at work.
