I came across a brief obituary for Bob in "Vanderbilt Medicine," then looked up his newspaper obit online. I was a roommate of Bob's during our freshman year at Vanderbilt University Medical School, although I subsequently graduated with the class after his. I remember him as a serious student and an agreeable young man. I extend my condolences to his family.

I had the great pleasure of working with the veterinarian Bob and Lynn used while in Tulsa. I also had the great honor of being loved by a couple of their phenomenal bullmastiffs. Bob was a wonderful man and will be greatly missed. My love to Lynn... thank-you for making my life brighter with your kindness and generosity and most of all for blessing me with a couple of the best canine friends I will ever know.
