Robert "Bobby" Singer Jr.

Robert (Bobby) Singer, Jr., 56, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020, with his family by his side. He was born on November 21, 1963, to Robert and Martha Singer of Newburgh, Indiana. Bobby was loved by his family and friends. He worked at Wabash Plastics for 32 years. Bobby was an avid IU basketball and football fan. He loved the Cubs, (through their good years and their bad years). He enjoyed boating, golfing, playing video games, and building large intricate model ships. Bobby also loved sitting outside and watching the birds. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Singer, Sr.; grandparents, Norris and Eva Cotton; and his nephew, Andrew Beckerle. Bobby leaves to cherish his memories, his mother, Martha Singer; sister, Debbie (Jeff) Becker; sister, Vickie Beckerle; nephew, Chris (Traci) Davis; nieces, Liz (Branden) Kirsch, Jessica (Drew) Mitchell, and Lisa (Joe) McElroy; great nieces and nephews, Bayleigh and Taylor Davis, Isaac & Bella Kirsch, Landon Bell, Jace McElroy, Reed and Miles Mitchell; and extended friends who all loved him. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at Deaconess Gateway Hospital ICU for all the care they gave him. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, officiated by Pastor Mike Ward and Pastor Ron David, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery at a later date. Friends may visit on Monday, August 3, 2020, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home.
