Rodney Alan Knight, 65, passed peacefully into the welcoming, loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, November 8, 2014. He was a graduate of the North T & I Program in 1967 and was retired from the Insulators Union Local 37 after 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Ruth (Rodgers) and Jack Thomas Knight.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Linda; son, Matthew Aaron; granddaughter, Fallyn Knight; brothers, Jerry (Janice), Thomas (Kathy), Richard (Debbie), Jeffrey (Betsy); sister, Sheree Lee Paulson (Harold); special aunts, Carli Knight, Mazie (Howard “Bud”) Tindle, Madeline (Jerry) Brasher, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Westwood General Baptist Church, 121 S. Boehne Camp Road, with Rev. John Sloan officiating. Friends may visit Tuesday from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the church with lunch to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dream Works or Albion Fellows Bacon Center.
