Sherry Snodgrass

She attended Yankeetown United Methodist Church. You could find her on her front porch with coffee or iced tea. Her family was her heart and she loved having them at her house. She loved antiquing and spontaneous road trips. She loved her flowers and Christmas. Christmas was a big deal. She listened to Christmas music year-round.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Byers; sister, Kim Ellis and brother, Jimmy Byers.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Terry; daughter, Shannlyn (Greg) Bruce; son, Jimmy; grandson, Logan (Lauren) Snodgrass; granddaughter, Shelby (Brock) Ruffert; grandsons, Thomas Snodgrass, Nicholas Snodgrass and Landon Snodgrass; great grands, Colton, Lawson, Lainee, Axton, Justin and Owen; sister, Debbie (Roger) Smith; brother, Matt Byers; Sister in law, Cheryl Cook and many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.

Visitation will be held at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN 47630, on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. until her funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow in Bates Hill Cemetery in Yankeetown, IN.
