John Stephen Mumma, 74, of Newburgh, IN, passed away Sunday, September 13, 2015, at Signature Healthcare in Newburgh. He was born October 13, 1940, in Decatur, IL, to the late Floyd and Dorothy (Edwards) Mumma.
He graduated from Millikin University and was a member of Delta Sigma Phi fraternity. Steve retired from Atlas Van Lines where he worked as Senior VP of Sales and Marketing. He was an avid golfer. He served on the board of Easter Seals in Evansville.
Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Farkas) Mumma; and his parents.
He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Peters (Jeff) and Laura Stroud; son, Eric Mumma; grandchildren, Heather, Will, Danielle, John, Drew, Cara; one great-grandchild, Damon; sister, Marilyn Kruzan; and brother, Philip Mumma.
Memorial Services were held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 17, 2015, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel.
