Terry G. Johnston

Terry was an Army Veteran serving during the Cold War from 1959-1962. He served in Italy; went to NCO School and graduated in the top 10% of the class and was also in the Military Police.

He was a banker in Richmond, IN and Evansville. He graduated from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin in Madison and was in the top 10% of his class. He also graduated from the National Commercial Lending School.

Terry was a member and Past President of Rolling Hills Country Club. He loved to play golf.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynda (Gentry) Johnston; son, Timothy of Sellersburg, IN; daughter, Patty Swanson of Cincinnati, OH; grandchildren Chris and Alyssa Johnston and Kara, Elizabeth and Sam Swanson; and brother, Keith Johnston of East Peoria, IL.

Services will be 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 28, 2010, at Alexander Newburgh Chapel with by Rev. Kenneth Townsend officiating. There will be visitation following the service.
