Timothy Michael Ash

Mourning the loss of Tim Ash, who passed away the morning of Thursday, July 3, 2025. Known for his warm heart, musical talents, and love for his family, Tim leaves behind memories and melodies that will endure for years to come.

Tim’s kindness and humor were just as memorable as his musical talents. He had a way of making everyone feel welcome, never knowing a stranger- only friends he hadn’t yet met and often brightening rooms with a quick joke or a warm albeit cheesy smile. His generous nature and steady support touched countless lives, offering comfort and encouragement even in difficult times.

Music was at the core of Tim’s life. His creative spirit produced albums like Get Real, Round 3 (EP), Up on Blocks, and Saved by Love (EP) and more—projects that showcased not just his skill, but his deep passion for sharing songs that spoke to the soul. Whether he was playing, listening, or sharing his love for music, it was a constant melody that played through his life and touched the lives of those around him.

He is survived by his loving wife Rachel Ash and his five beautiful children: Angelica Emmons (husband Eric), Catie Ash (fiancé Matt Fulton), Joel Ash (fiancée Tatiana Gilpin), Matthew Ash, and Abigail Ash. Tim also delighted in his role as a grandfather, cherishing moments with Ian, Karalyn, and Roe Emmons. Tim admired his best friend and brother, Michael Ash (wife Kristine). His family was his greatest joy and source of pride.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joyce and Michael Ash, and his older brother, Joseph Ash—loved ones he carried in his heart throughout his life.

For anyone who felt the joy of Tim’s music, his kindness, or his friendship- a memorial gathering will be held on Sunday, July 13, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Street 261, Newburgh, IN with service beginning at 5:00 p.m.
