She was preceded in death by her parents – her own personal escorts – Thomas Eugene Snodgrass and Janice Snodgrass.
Tonya left behind her loving and loyal husband of 36 years, Eddie Bell; and two loving, devoted and forever grateful children, Chris Bell of Newburgh and Jenny Bell of Evansville. She also left two siblings who have loved her since the day she was born, Terry Snodgrass (Sherry) and Cheryl Cook (Sherman) of Owensboro; along with 6 loving nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews whom she loved very dearly.
Tonya loved her family and her husband with all her heart. She was with her husband for over half her life and considered her children her greatest achievement in life. She cherished her nieces and nephews and was always ready for special treats at Halloween and at Christmas. She was one of the hardest working women this world has ever seen and spent 26 of her years working at Bob Evans where she was not only an excellent server, but also a bright smile that lit the days of countless patrons. She may not have known your name right away, but she always knew how you liked your eggs cooked. Tonya was an inspiration and she epitomized what hard work, love for family, and faith in God can do. It brings happiness and is a legacy that lives on for eternity. Rest in peace, My Momma Bear. Now you know how much you have meant to all of us and how much you were truly loved.
