Valada "Dolly" (Galey) Winchester

Dolly loved to work in her flower garden and enjoyed being with her family. She was an awesome baseball coach and Cub Scout leader. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years. She worked at Castle High School in the cafeteria and Woodlands Convalescent Center and also as an in-home caregiver. Dolly also volunteered in the church office at St John the Baptist Catholic Church.

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Edward L. Winchester; her seven children, Debbie Johnston (Steve), Eddie Winchester (Pam), Tonya Joiner (Rick), Rhonda Riley (Rick), Paula Shoultz (Jon), Mark Winchester (Kendra), Jeff Winchester (Amy); grandchildren, Monica Daming (Paul), Chris Winchester, Amanda Talarzyk, Steven Johnston, Nathan Joiner (Lorah), Sara Labhart (Beau), Erin Little (Sean), Kelsea Slade (Hunter), Hannah Riley, Chad Shoultz (Michelle Landis), Jessica Rexing (John), Quinn Luker, Shelby Luker, Savannah Winchester, Logan Winchester, Peyton Winchester; 9 great-grandchildren; 2 more due in September; and sister, Norma Taylor.

Services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, August 17, 2015, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 625 Frame Road, Newburgh, IN. officiated by Fr. Thomas Kessler with entombment in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may visit Sunday 3-7 PM at Alexander Newburgh Chapel, 5333 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN, and 9-10 AM Monday at the church.
