Anna B. (nee Pulec) Vavra, age 89, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2018 with her loving family at her side. She is the loving wife of the late Vladimir Vavra; cherished mother of Daniel T. Vavra, Thomas (Sandra)Vavra, Catherine Majewski, Martin (Sherlon) Vavra, Lynn (Kevin Kidd) Vavra, the late Lawrence Vavra, the late David Vavra,; many grandchildren, and great grandchildren; cherished sister to Margaret Mikel, Elsie Fields, the late Milan Pulec; sister-in-law to Jari Granton; beloved aunt to many; cherished friend to many.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453. Burial will follow at Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery of Hillside, IL.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the family of the Vavra’s and the lose of your mother,Anna. My sympathies goes out to her Sons and daughters and her grandchildren and great grandchildren. God Bless you in Heaven.
I’m best friends with Jennifer and she loved her Grandma with all her heart and she can’t be there to say goodbye and she loves you. Peace to you and your family. I’m the one who sent the album of Jen’s family, so you can see they all. My prayers are with you.
