Antonia Clare Edgeworth

Antonia "Toni" Clare Edgeworth was born on September 30, 1979 in Canberra, Australia. Toni passed away suddenly on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Toni was a devoted daughter of Kathleen and the late Dr. Robert Edgeworth, beloved sister of Julia (Jeffrey) Budzynski, cherished aunt of Robert and Thomas Budzynski, loving niece of Thomas (Karyn) Young, cousin and friend to many. She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents and many loving aunts and uncles.

Toni grew up in Baton Rouge Louisiana and graduated from Baton Rouge Community College. She traveled extensively, including trips to many continents and as far as Australia and Easter Island. She was always up for an adventure from swimming with dolphins to piloting a gyrocopter to taking a mule ride to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. She had an instinctive way with animals and rescued many cats over the years.

Toni was known for her outgoing nature, constant smile, caring nature and energetic spirit. She was a friend to all she met and always willing to lend a helping hand to a person or animal in need. Toni was incessantly appreciative and complimentary of those around her, showing gratitude for a simple meal or making a stranger perk up with a compliment of a funny shirt or a great hair day. She never forgot a birthday or holiday, most often with a whimsical card or unique thoughtful gift only Toni could find. Toni brought so much joy and light to those that knew her.

A visitation will take place on Friday August 2, 2024 at 10am located at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 9525 S Lawndale Ave Evergreen Park, IL 60805. Following promptly with the funeral mass at 11:30am also located at Most Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Interment will take place at 1:00pm located at Mount Olivet Catholic Cemetery, 2755 West 111th Street,Chicago, IL 60655
