Although I’m sad without you
And wish that you were here
within my heart your smile and laugh are bright and clear
I’ll treasure all the memories
Of growing up with you.
The secrets we always shared
The things sisters and best friends do.
I’m blessed to call you sister,
I also call you friend;
You’ve loved me unconditionally,
And stood through thick and thin.
You’ve shared my joys and sorrows,
My laughter and my tears.
You’ve been my inspiration,
As we grew up through the years.
You were a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, Auntie April and friend to so many too

You taught us love and how to fight,
You gave us strength, you gave us might.

And in your heart, you were always kind.

Dear April,

When I heard the news of your passing, I was stunned. I didn’t work close
with you, but we lockered next to each other and often times I would be 
rushing in or you would doing the opposite 😍 We often chatted and laughed about some silly thing or another.. I will always remember your great smile😇 we all will miss. I know you are at peace and are being rewarded for all of your faith and a job well done on earth. Rest In Peace..

Auntie April,  

There are no words to describe the grief I'm feeling. I always thought I would be able to come see you when I was well or you where better and finally put this distance between us to an end.  You were my person growing up and now I can never make this right.  I love you so much and I have always missed you dearly. I will always cherish and hold onto all the amazing childhood memories you gave me.  I will value all the words of wisdom you tried so hard to instill in me.  Thank you for loving me.  You will forever be in my heart.

April, Thank you for all the memories.  You made  me laugh so many times. You comforted me when my brother passed away.  You gave me sound advice when I asked.    And as Karyn said, we had to earn your friendship.  Glad I was one of them that was part of the circle of your friends.  This is not the end but the beginning of the next journey.  I know you will be waiting on the other side.  You were the glue that held me,  Karyn, and Lola together.   Who else will ruffle our feathers.  And that you did.  LOL.
