

Mary Arline Ewing, 90 years old, died Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at the Moorings of Arlington Heights in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 58 years, Frederick E. Ewing; loving mother of Scott A. (Connie) Ewing of Hoffman Estates, IL, Ellen M. (Art) Nachowitz of Custer Park, IL, Eric R. (Kathy) Ewing of New Lenox, IL and Reid A. Ewing of Chicago, IL. Proud grandmother of Jeremy, Matthew and Laura Ewing; Jessica Barba, nee Nachowitz, Mark, Douglas and Craig Nachowitz; Jeffrey, Becky, Daniel and Edward Ewing; great-grandmother of Evan. Preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary A. Scott, nee Peterson and Walter A. Scott and her sisters, Lenore S. Lee, Helen Adele Ditmars, and Jane E. Stanton. Survivors include her sister, Vivian M. Hoeppner of Hendersonville, NC and brother, Walter A. Scott of Cedar Rapids, IA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and role model for all that knew and loved her.
