Arne E. Helander, age 74, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 5, 2018. Loving husband of the late Diane Helander, nee Cess; Loving father of Lisa (Tony) Lewis and Gayle Wolcott; Cherished grandpa of Nicole, Aaron, Zachary, Jaedyn, Grayson, and Dylan; Dear brother of Harvey (late Annette) Helander; Uncle and friend to many. Brother-in-law of Karen (Terry), Sharon (late Dennis), and Ken (Conny). Visitation will be from 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday, December 12th , at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd Street, Oak Lawn, IL 60453, with a Funeral Service to take place at 7:00 PM that night, also at the Funeral Home. Interment Private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Joliet Area Community Hospice, 250 Water Stone Circle, Joliet, IL 60431.
