

Barbara was born on October 3, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois, to Edward Bilinski Sr. and Bernice Bilinski. As the eldest child in the family, she became a beloved sister, aunt, great-aunt, cherished friend, and a second mother to many throughout her life.
Barbara was born, raised, and worked in the Chicago area, earning the respect and admiration of everyone who knew her. She was known as a strong, independent, caring, and generous person who was always willing to lend a helping hand whenever someone needed it.
Although Barbara never had children of her own, she poured her love into her family and maintained close relationships with her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Her guidance, support, and kindness touched countless lives.
Barbara treasured her many friendships, especially those she shared with her beloved bingo buddies. She particularly enjoyed taking trips to Potawatomi with them, creating many wonderful memories filled with laughter and companionship.
She also shared a special bond with Joseph Humbert, her dear friend and companion, and was very close to Joe and his family, who held a special place in her heart.
Barbara is survived by her brother, Edward Bilinski Jr. and his wife, Mary Bilinski; her sister, Georgiann Pyrchalla and her husband, Frank Sr. Pyrchalla; her dear friend and companion, Joseph Humbert; along with many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Bilinski Sr. and Bernice Bilinski.
Barbara will be remembered for her compassionate heart, her generous spirit, her unwavering willingness to help others, and the genuine care she showed to everyone around her. Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched and the countless memories she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Guests are asked to arrive between 10:00 and 10:15 a.m. and meet at the main office parking lot near the cemetery entrance. A prayer service will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m. in the cemetery Chapel, followed by a procession to the gravesite where Barbara will be laid to rest alongside her mother, Bernice Bilinski.
