Barbara was a lifelong resident of Oak Lawn, where she made many wonderful memories and enjoyed being an active part of her community. For the past three years, she was fortunate to call Evergreen Senior Living in Orland Park her home. Barbara truly enjoyed her time there, as well as the friendships and activities that became part of her daily life.
Barbara was known for her fun-loving spirit. She loved a good party, whether she was attending one or hosting one, and was happiest when surrounded by people, sharing a laugh and enjoying the moment. She kept busy with shopping trips, lunches with friends, and cheering on her favorite sports teams.
Barbara lived all 99 years of her life in her own unique way—with plenty of personality, independence, humor, and a love of having a good time. She will be remembered for her bright spirit, her love of people, and the joy she found in the simple pleasures of everyday life.
May Barbara rest in peace, knowing how many wonderful memories she created throughout her long and remarkable life. Her laughter, warmth, and joyful spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. A private inurnment will take place alongside Barbara's late husband Walter at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
