Barbara Miczynski, age 90, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2023. Loving wife of the late Leonard Miczynski; beloved mother of Jeff (Jane) Hoswell and Scott Hoswell. Stepmother of Margaret (Thomas) O’Grady, Jacqueline (Michael Fahey) Miczynski, Sharon (Bud) Lauderdale, and Debra (Jerry) Rosso; cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt of many.
In her younger years, Barbara was an ardent pianist and in later years enjoyed playing the organ with her husband, Lenny. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading new recipes, big band music, dancing and creating wonderful holiday memories for her family.
Visitation for Barbara will be from 5:00 PM-7:30 PM at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W 103rd, Oak Lawn, on Tuesday, February 7. Prayers to begin at 10:15 AM on Wednesday, February 8, at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, proceeding to Our Lady of the Ridge Church for an 11:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
